Job summary

Huddersfield Private Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, invites applications for an Endoscopy Lead Practitioner. The role is 37.5 hours per week, permanent, with a salary up to £45,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

The post requires flexible shift coverage within the Theatre department and leadership in endoscopy care. The successful candidate will manage the Endoscopy Unit, oversee peri-procedure care, and drive service improvements.

Qualifications

• Registered practitioner with senior experience in endoscopy
• Evidence of clinical governance and audit experience
• Competence across endoscopy care and decontamination

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate care within the Endoscopy Unit
• Deliver peri-procedure patient care under clinical supervision
• Develop policies to improve service delivery
• Adhere to decontamination programmes for endoscopes
• Complete departmental risk and COSHH assessments and implement actions
• Complete mandatory training requirements
