Job summary

Community Eye Care Chec in Ilford is seeking an Endoscopy Lead Practitioner to join a growing department. This permanent, full-time role is 37.5 hours per week, with variable days and weekend cover to meet business needs, and includes Tier 2 visa sponsorship.

You will support the hospital manager in running the Endoscopy Department, ensuring governance, clinical effectiveness and high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Endoscopy experience and leadership abilities required.
• Experience working in endoscopy with emphasis on patient safety.
• Knowledge of JAG accreditation processes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Support management of the Endoscopy Department ensuring governance and high standards of care.
• Guide and support the team in delivering patient care across the pathway.
• Contribute to the Endoscopy strategy and assist with JAG accreditation.
• Ensure equipment and resources are available for sessions and maintain traceability.
