Job summary

Apogee Corporation in Lincoln is seeking a motivated End User Compute Technician with a genuine interest in technology to join our repair centre. You will assist with diagnosing, repairing, configuring and refurbishing desktop and laptop devices, while contributing to a busy, customer-focused environment.

Full training will be provided; attitude and willingness to learn are as important as previous experience.

Qualifications

• Interest in IT, technology, computer hardware or device support.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, laptops, desktops and common hardware components.
• Logical thinking and a methodical approach to problem solving.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
• Good organisational and administrative skills.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to new challenges.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, configure and refurbish desktop and laptop devices to a high standard.
• Carry out associated administration, maintain records and follow established processes.
• Work alongside experienced colleagues in a busy repair centre environment to develop technical skills.
