Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking a Project Architect for a Cheshire-based specialist architectural consultancy. You will manage bespoke residential projects from client engagement through planning, Building Regulations and construction to completion, liaising with private clients, contractors and stakeholders.

The role offers hybrid working after an initial office-based start, with a clear path to project ownership within a close-knit team of around 16, and nationwide projects across the

Qualifications

• Strong background in residential architecture within a small/medium practice.
• Experience taking residential projects through construction.
• Excellent communication with private residential clients.
• Planning and Building Regulations experience essential.
• Ability to liaise with contractors and resolve on-site issues.
• Contract administration experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage bespoke residential projects from initial client engagement through to completion.
• Undertake site surveys and develop initial design proposals.
• Prepare and submit planning applications.
• Produce detailed technical drawings and Building Regulations packages.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Prepare specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation.
• Assist with contractor selection, tender reviews and appointments.
• Undertake regular site visits and monitor construction works.
• Provide Contract Administration and project management during construction.
