Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our Finance & Procurement team. You will manage procurement exercises from inception through to contract award, ensuring compliance with procurement legislation and organisational policies while delivering value for money.

You will build positive supplier relationships, support contract management and drive continuous improvement across RBH.

Qualifications

• You will be a proactive, organised procurement professional with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience in public sector or social housing procurement is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and best practice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and stakeholder management.
• Experience creating procurement and contract documentation.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end procurement exercises from stakeholder engagement to award.
• Provide procurement guidance to colleagues to ensure compliant activity.
• Lead projects delivering value for money and service improvements.
• Maintain the e-procurement portal and support users.
• Advertise procurement opportunities on appropriate platforms.
• Support contract management, supplier performance monitoring and compliance.
• Draft procurement and contract documentation with accuracy.
• Produce procurement reports, spend analysis and MIS for decision making.
• Identify and manage procurement and supplier risks.
• Develop relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Promote best practice procurement and contribute to improvements.
• Mentor junior procurement colleagues when required.
