Confidential, based in Benfleet, Essex, is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a busy payroll team. You will deliver end-to-end payroll for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring accuracy and timely processing across weekly, monthly, and other cycles.

The role requires strong RTI knowledge, CIS payroll experience, and meticulous attention to payroll legislation. The successful candidate will join a modern, supportive practice with excellent benefits and clear career progression

Qualifications

• Experience delivering end-to-end payroll for multiple clients.
• Strong knowledge of RTI submissions and HMRC rules.
• CIS payroll experience and payroll legislation awareness.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Manage weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly and monthly payrolls.
• Process CIS payrolls and subcontractor payments.
• Submit RTI returns to HMRC on time.
• Calculate SSP, SMP, SAP and related statutory payments.
• Process starters, leavers and payroll amendments.
• Oversee pension auto-enrolment and compliance.
• Resolve payroll queries with clients and maintain service levels.
