Job summary

Marks Sattin is seeking a payroll professional to support the Payroll Team Leadership in delivering a high-quality payroll and pensions service across the business. The role requires processing end-to-end payroll, pensions and expenses accurately, meeting deadlines and SLAs.

You will maintain compliance with HMRC requirements and pensions legislation, act as a key contact for stakeholders, and drive improvements through standardisation and automation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in end-to-end payroll and pensions processing.
• Strong knowledge of UK and Republic of Ireland payroll and pensions.
• Understanding of payroll legislation, regulatory requirements and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Support Payroll Team Leadership in delivering payroll and pensions services.
• Process end-to-end payroll, pensions and employee expenses accurately and on time.
• Ensure payroll activities meet SLAs and KPIs.
• Maintain compliance with HMRC requirements, pensions legislation, controls and audit standards.
• Act as a key contact for internal/external stakeholders including Finance and HR.
• Take ownership of assigned payroll/pensions responsibilities and resolve queries.
• Provide knowledgeable support on payroll and pensions administration.
