Job summary

DFS Group is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll and pensions processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery for weekly and monthly payrolls. You’ll partner with Finance, People and HR BPs to support colleagues and managers, while driving process improvements and adherence to regulatory standards.

The role requires UK payroll knowledge, 3+ years of experience, and familiarity with iTrent, Excel and G Suite.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in end-to-end payroll and pensions processing.
• Robust understanding of UK payroll and pensions legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience testing new functionality and training team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to Payroll Team Leadership to enable delivery of high-quality payroll and pensions services.
• Adhere to SLAs and KPIs, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives.
• Engage with stakeholders to manage risk, resolve issues, and support governance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to standardise, automate, and improve controls and processes.
