Job summary

Marks Sattin is partnering with a fast-growing, values-driven food business in Wembley to recruit a Payroll & HR Operations Coordinator for a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on payroll data collation, accuracy, and supporting HR systems during an exciting period of change.

The successful candidate will manage large datasets, ensure payroll readiness, and produce Excel-based reports while collaborating with HR, Payroll and Finance to support a smooth payroll cycle.

Qualifications

• Experience working with large datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS and IF statements.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy.
• Ability to spot inconsistencies and investigate data issues.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset with flexibility to support where needed.

Responsibilities

• Collate, validate and prepare payroll data for submission to an outsourced payroll provider.
• Support the monthly payroll process through data checking and discrepancy reconciliation.
• Manage and maintain large volumes of employee data across HR and payroll systems.
• Produce and analyse reports in Excel to support payroll and business needs.
• Support a major HR systems implementation project with data cleansing and migration.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across HR and payroll activities at all times.
• Provide day-to-day operational support to the HR team and coordinate priorities.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and process improvements.
