Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing payroll processes from start to finish.
• Strong working knowledge of Sage Payroll.
• Experience preparing payroll journals and reconciliations.
• Good understanding of HMRC requirements, UK payroll legislation and pensions.
• Supervisory experience or ability to develop colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Manage weekly and monthly payrolls with accurate processing and deadlines.
• Maintain employee payroll records including starters, leavers, changes and deductions.
• Submit RTI returns and manage year-end processes (P60s, P11Ds).
• Reconcile payroll reports and respond to queries promptly and professionally.
• Ensure payroll practices comply with HMRC and UK legislation.
