Yolk Recruitment is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing for a sizeable workforce in a hybrid, multi-site environment. You will work closely with Finance and HR to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely delivery using Sage Payroll.

The role offers progression to Payroll Manager as the organisation continues to grow, with responsibilities expanding alongside workforce increases and process improvements.

Qualifications

• End-to-end monthly payroll experience.
• Experience handling payroll for large staff.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation.

Responsabilités

• Full responsibility for the end-to-end monthly payroll process.
• Payroll for employees across multiple sites.
• Process payroll accurately and within deadlines.
• Use Sage Payroll to manage payroll.
• Ensure PAYE, NI, pensions and statutory compliance.
• Manage starters, leavers, changes and deductions.
• Complete payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to payroll queries from employees and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure accuracy.
• Support development and improvement of payroll processes.
• Grow the payroll function as the workforce expands.
