Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Payroll Co-ordinator in Essex to join a supportive team. The role covers end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and collaborating with HR.

You will handle monthly payroll runs using payroll software (SelectPay preferred), liaise with HMRC, and respond to employee queries. Flexible working and a competitive salary up to £34,000 are on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance position with payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems, preferably SelectPay.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process monthly payroll runs.
• Prepare payroll journals, reports, reconciliations and BACS information.
• Liaise with HMRC on PAYE matters and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with HR to maintain employee data accuracy and payroll reporting.
• Respond to payroll-related queries from employees, managers and HR.
