Job summary

National Vehicle Distribution is seeking a Customer Operations Account Manager based in Southampton to oversee end-to-end service for key accounts, from port arrivals to final delivery and aftercare. You will coordinate across Sales, Operations, Transport, and Finance, keep CRM/ERP records up to date, monitor KPIs, and drive improvements to service delivery while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service coordination, logistics, or service delivery roles.
• Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with internal teams and customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned key accounts and act as the primary contact for day-to-day service activities.
• Manage end-to-end order process from port of arrival to final delivery.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Transport, and Finance to ensure seamless delivery.
• Monitor activity and progress, identify delays, and take corrective action.
• Maintain accurate information using CRM and ERP systems for visibility.
• Send weekly service reports to clients.
• Host weekly account meetings with key customers.
• Support CX team with account updates and workflow reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and efficiency.
