Job summary

Thames Water is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead end-to-end capital delivery across its operational sites and estate from Guildford (GU1).

You will manage a portfolio of Mechanical, Electrical and ICA projects typically valued from £100k to £1m, with responsibility for scoping, tendering, procurement, site setup, H&S, commissioning and handover, while maintaining CDM compliance. Travel to multiple sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Background in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil engineering.
• Formal qualification or relevant experience; BTEC/HND preferred.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver a portfolio of MEICA projects, typically £100k–£1m each.
• Scope, tender, procure, set up sites, conduct inductions, and ensure H&S compliance.
• Oversee commissioning, training and handover to operations teams; maintain CDM compliance.
