Job summary

Thames Water is seeking an Engineering Project Manager based in London to deliver Mechanical, Electrical and ICA schemes up to £1 million. You will manage CAPEX end-to-end across our operational sites, from scoping and tendering to contractor procurement, site inductions and H&S inspections.

Location is London-based with on-site work five days a week; you will receive a £4,500 car allowance and competitive benefits. The role entails commissioning, training and handover to operations teams.

Qualifications

• Preferably have a background in Engineering such as Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Formal qualifications within these sectors are strongly encouraged.
• At least a BTEC/HND in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Clean Water Processing and/or Wastewater treatment is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and sites.
• Experience in Construction or Engineering Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver a portfolio of Mechanical, Electrical and ICA projects.
• Oversee CAPEX projects from scoping through to handover.
• Coordinate procurement, site inductions and health & safety inspections.
• Draft RAMS, CPP, and manage risk assessments and programmes.
• Forecast finances and report the value of work done (VOWD).
• Ensure documentation completion and handover to operations teams.
