Axon Moore is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy finance team in Leeds. You will manage your own ledger, chase payments and maintain accurate records to reduce aged debt.

You'll interact with customers via phone and email, requiring a calm, empathetic approach and strong attention to detail. The role is on-site in Leeds with flexible start/finish times and the opportunity to make a real difference.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control is essential.
• Ability to converse with customers about payments in a calm, empathetic manner.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Capable of managing own workload and meeting deadlines.
• Comfortable using Excel and finance systems.

Responsabilités

• Manage own ledger and end-to-end credit control processes.
• Contact customers by telephone and email to collect outstanding payments.
• Build positive relationships with customers.
• Understand individual circumstances and work with customers to find solutions.
• Monitor outstanding balances and take action to reduce aged debt.
• Allocate payments and maintain accurate records.
• Resolve queries and investigate discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment issues.
• Provide regular updates on outstanding debt.
