Axon Moore is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy finance team in Leeds. You will manage your own ledger, chase payments and maintain accurate records to reduce aged debt.

You'll interact with customers via phone and email, requiring a calm, empathetic approach and strong attention to detail. The role is on-site in Leeds with flexible start/finish times and the opportunity to make a real difference.

Credit Controller | Leeds | Up to £33,000 | On-site - flexible start and finish times

We are recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy finance team in Leeds, in a role where you can genuinely make a difference.

This is a hands-on, end-to-end credit control position, managing your own workload and taking responsibility for collecting outstanding payments. You'll be dealing directly with customers, so a professional, understanding and empathetic approach is really important.

The role would suit someone who is confident having conversations about payments but understands that care and empathy can make a real difference when working with customers.

The Role

• Managing your own ledger and carrying out end-to-end credit control


• Contacting customers by telephone and email to collect outstanding payments


• Building positive relationships with customers


• Understanding individual circumstances and working with customers to find appropriate solutions


• Monitoring outstanding balances and taking action to reduce aged debt


• Allocating payments and maintaining accurate account records


• Resolving queries and investigating discrepancies


• Working closely with internal teams to resolve payment issues


• Maintaining accurate records and providing regular updates on outstanding debt
