Job summary

Axon Moore have partnered with a leading manufacturing business in Clitheroe to recruit an Accounts Assistant. The role offers end-to-end ownership of core transactional processes and a supportive management team within a flexible hybrid setup.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in a similar role, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to improving processes. Starting salary up to £35,000 with a bonus scheme and pension.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a similar accounts role.
• Tenacious, problem-solving attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Well organised with ability to prioritise workload.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Adaptable and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchase ledger processes.
• Perform weekly supplier payment runs and ad hoc payments.
• Daily bank reconciliations and cashflow forecasting.
• Daily chasing of overdue accounts and posting/allocating cash receipts.
• Review and improve processes for efficiency."
• Maintain accounting ledger, finance systems and expense management.
• Assist with month-end journals and processing.
• Support internal and external audits and other ad-hoc duties.
