Axon Moore are working with a growing business in Altrincham to recruit a Credit Control Clerk into a newly created standalone position.

You will own the ledger, chase debt, support month-end processes, and help drive improvements across the finance function within a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B credit control or sales ledger is essential.
• Ability to manage debt collection and client accounts independently.
• Proactive approach to improving processes within finance.

Responsibilities

• Raising and issuing accurate sales invoices and credit notes.
• Managing a ledger of B2B customer accounts and chasing outstanding debt.
• Reviewing aged debt, monitoring credit limits and escalating risks.
• Allocating customer payments and supporting month-end reconciliations.
• Investigating invoice queries and price discrepancies; resolving them with customers.
