Job summary

Axon Moore is partnering with a growing SME in South Manchester to appoint anAccounts Assistant/Finance Officer. The role goes beyond invoices, supporting both finance and wider operations while gaining exposure to how a growing international company operates.

Working with the senior team, you’ll handle transactional accounting, bookkeeping and general finance support, with exposure to Business Central. You’ll be part of a dynamic, ambitious team and have opportunities for study support and

Qualifications

• Some previous accounts or finance experience
• Understanding the fundamentals of double-entry accounting
• Experience with reconciliations and transactional finance
• Organised, meticulous and inquisitive by nature
• Willingness to learn and develop your career
• AAT studies or accounting qualification welcomed (not essential) with study support possible

Responsibilities

• Sales ledger and purchase ledger
• Bank reconciliations
• Double-entry bookkeeping
• Support VAT returns
• Intercompany transactions
• Stock reconciliations
• General finance administration
• Assist wider sales and operations teams
• Ensure transactions are processed accurately from start to finish
• Support the finance function as the company grows internationally
