Job summary

Training Qualifications UK is seeking an HR Support/Partner End-Point Assessment Assessor to deliver independent assessment services for Apprenticeship Standards. You will manage a caseload, train freelance assessors, and ensure high standards with QA processes, while travelling as required.

You will hold CIPD L5 or equivalent and an assessor qualification, plus an Internal QA qualification. Strong written/verbal communication and robust CPD are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working within HR and familiarity with the Apprenticeship Standard.
• CIPD L5 or equivalent qualification.
• Evidence of ability to assess all areas of the Standard.
• Current knowledge of safeguarding, Prevent, equality, diversity and inclusion and health and safety.
• Assessor qualification (D32/33, A1, TAQA or EPA) with remote assessment proficiency.
• Internal Quality Assurer Qualification (D34, V1).
• Functional Skills Level 2 English & Maths.
• Experience in work-based learning assessment.
• Strong IT and digital literacy with MS packages.
• Experience in producing clear, concise written reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned caseload to ensure all End-Point Assessment stages are completed on time and to standard.
• Deliver End-Point Assessment services to Apprentices and Employers.
• Perform EPA activities with integrity and impartiality.
• Produce accurate feedback and written reports to validate assessment decisions.
• Maintain knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards and Assessment Plans.
• Engage with internal quality assurance processes as required.
• Lead moderation, standardisation and development activities as needed.
• Support training of freelance End-Point Assessors and other external customers.
• Maintain on-going CPD relevant to assessment and QA.
• Contribute to development of new assessment materials and resources.
• Adhere to Training Qualifications UK policies and procedures.
• Be willing to travel as required.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth customer experience.
• Screen/interview potential End-Point Assessors/IQAs to verify qualifications.
• Assist investigations into potential malpractice.
