Job summary

Training Qualifications UK is seeking an Apprenticeship End-Point Assessor to deliver independent, fair assessments and to train freelance assessors. The role is a full-time fixed-term contract (4 months), remote home-based with travel to Portsmouth, Hampshire as required.

You will manage a caseload, provide objective assessment feedback, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards across listed sectors. A CPD-driven, confidential, professional approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to assess business, customer service and assessor standards.
• Minimum two years in classroom environments.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, duty of care, equality and health & safety.
• Clear and current DBS check and essential regulatory awareness.
• Willingness to travel and conduct on-site assessments.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned caseload and complete End-Point Assessment stages on time.
• Deliver high-quality end-point assessment services to apprentices and employers.
• Provide accurate written feedback and reports for assessment decisions.
• Maintain knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards and Assessment Plans.
• Lead moderation, standardisation and training of freelance assessors.
• Support external customers with training and quality assurance tasks.
