Job summary

Humanoid in the United Kingdom is seeking a hands-on Robotics End-Effector Integration Engineer to bring grippers, actuators and sensors from prototype components to reliable robot systems. You will assemble prototypes, build test rigs and validate end-effector interfaces across mechanical, electrical, controls and software.

You’ll conduct rapid component shootouts, analyze sensor data, and support root-cause analyses to feed long-term improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Robotics, Mechatronics, or integration Engineering with end-to-end project experience.
• Hardware Debugging: use oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers to diagnose issues.
• End-Effector & Sensor Knowledge: grippers, actuators, tactile sensing, encoders, load cells, and related systems.
• Software Competency: Linux and Python, ROS/ROS2 for visualization, Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• System Integration: support multiple streams to ensure mechanisms, actuators, sensors, electronics, and software integrate physically and logically.
• End-Effector & Sensor Evaluation (R&D): build test rigs, run shootouts, compare components.
• Fleet Support & Root Cause Analysis: triage, RCA, and document feedback to mechanical, electrical, controls, and software teams.
