Shaftesbury York House in Shrewsbury is recruiting an Enabling Support Worker to provide compassionate, person-centred support and help residents live well. You will document care activities, follow the support plan, and may assist with personal care and medications, including sleep-in duties with a £60 sleep-in top-up.

The role offers a welcoming, community-focused workplace with staff recognition and a strong training package. A DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Compassionate care approach with focus on inclusion.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS/Access NI check.
• Ability to follow person-centred support plans and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and encouragement per the person-centred plan.
• Maintain accurate records in line with service requirements.
• Administer personal care and medications as required.
• Cover sleep-in sessions with pay (£60 per sleep-in).
