Job summary

Shaftesbury’s Treetops in Colchester is seeking an Enabling Support Worker to provide person‑centred care and encouragement, guided by the support plan. The role involves assisting residents with daily living, maintaining records and, where needed, personal care and medication.

You may cover sleep-in shifts with an extra £60 per sleep-in; the home is high-dependency with 24‑hour nursing and a focus on enabling a flourishing life.

Salary : £12.80 per hour

About the role

As an Enabling Support Worker it will be your role to provide support and encouragement, by taking direction from both the person supported and the person centred support plan.

You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements. You may also be required to administer personal care and medication.

There will be a requirement to cover sleep in sessions. You will be paid an additional £60 per sleep in.

Treetops is a high-dependency, residential care home providing 24-hour nursing and personal care for adults with disabilities, most of whom are younger.
