Shaftesbury Rowlands Gill is seeking an Enabling Support Worker to help someone live their best life. You’ll follow personalised support plans, provide care and encouragement, and be a dependable daily presence.

Location: Gateshead, Rowlands Gill

Salary : A GBP 12.75 per hour

Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours per week)

About The Role

Looking for a role where you can truly make a difference? As an Enabling Support Worker , youll be there to cheer people on and help them live their best lives. Youll follow their lead and their personalised support plan to provide the care and encouragement they need.

Your day:to:day will include keeping accurate records (dont worry, well show you how) and sometimes helping out with personal care or medication. Plus, theres the chance to cover sleep:in shifts, and youll earn an extra A GBP 60 per session for those.

• Day: 9:00 AM : 11:00 PM
• Sleepover
• Day: 7:00 AM : 9:00AM

About The Role

Were looking for a friendly, chatty, and engaging support worker to assist a gentleman living in the Rowlands Gill area. This is a rewarding role where youll help him stay independent and enjoy life at home and in the community.

What Youll Be Doing

• Keeping his home tidy and comfortable
• Cooking together and planning tasty meals
• Heading out for shopping trips
• Going along to medical appointments
• Helping with diabetes care (training provided)
• Encouraging local activities and social connections
