Job summary

Hana Group is seeking a Mobile Chef Manager for morning shifts, UK based only. You will lead kitchen operations, prepare fresh meals, and ensure food safety standards while serving Essex, Cambridge and Norfolk/Suffolk.

The role is full-time permanent with your own vehicle; shifts start around 6am. Compensation is £13.50–£15.50 per hour, with mileage paid, lunch on shift, and Perkbox access, plus ongoing training and career opportunities.

• Good understanding of Food Safety & Health & Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain audit standards for food and health & safety compliance.
• Ensure high cleanliness and food safety on site during cover.
• Prepare fresh ingredients by hand and label products for compliance.
• Place weekly orders, manage stock rotation, and perform monthly stock takes.

This role requires your own vehicle and milage will be paid.

You will be covering Essex, Cambridge and Norfolk/Suffolk

Able to:

• Maintaining audit standards for food and health & safety compliance while meeting EHO expectations
• Ensuring the team maintains a high standard of cleanliness and food safety on site to maintain a safe environment for our customers, our clients and ourselves during cover
• Highly organised, with a focus on forward planning
• Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products each shift
• Accurately labelling products ensuring lawful compliance around food safety and allergen compliance each shift.
• Be a skilled multitasker who has experience of placing weekly orders, daily stock rotation and producing monthly stock take.
• An early riser as shifts can start at 6am some days
• Learn new skills or improve skills already mastered
