Job summary

hana group is seeking a Mobile Chef Manager for morning shifts, covering Essex, Cambridge, and Norfolk/Suffolk. The role is full-time and based in the UK, with mileage paid and your own vehicle required.

Expect early shifts starting at 6am, with weekly orders, stock control, and high standards of food safety and sustainability. You will manage a team, uphold brand standards, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to a fast-paced environment across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams and building confidence in staff.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations.
• Ability to follow brand standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain audit standards for food and health & safety on site.
• Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and food safety for customers and teams.
• Place weekly orders and manage daily stock rotation.
• Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish.
• Label products accurately to meet allergen and regulatory requirements.
• Be an early riser; shifts can start at 6am.
• Support sustainability initiatives and uphold brand values.

• Compensation: GBP 13.5 - GBP 15.5 - hourly

This role requires your own vehicle and milage will be paid.

You will be covering Essex, Cambridge and Norfolk/Suffolk

Able to:

• Maintaining audit standards for food and health & safety compliance while meeting EHO expectations
• Ensuring the team maintains a high standard of cleanliness and food safety on site to maintain a safe environment for our customers, our clients and ourselves during cover
• Highly organised, with a focus on forward planning
• Prepare fresh ingredients by hand, including meat and raw fish products each shift
• Accurately labelling products ensuring lawful compliance around food safety and allergen compliance each shift.
• Be a skilled multitasker who has experience of placing weekly orders, daily stock rotation and producing monthly stock take.
• An early riser as shifts can start at 6am some days
• Learn new skills or improve skills already mastered
