Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD is partnering with a Bolton SEMH provision to recruit compassionate Youth Mentors. You will provide personalised one-to-one and small-group support to pupils, helping them develop confidence, emotional resilience, and positive behaviours in a safe, structured environment.

The role requires patience and resilience with pupils facing anxiety, trauma, or challenging behaviours. Location: Bolton; Hours: 8:30am - 3:45pm; Pay: from £97 per day; Start date: ASAP; Opportunity

Working with children or young people with additional needs

Responsibilities

Build positive, trusting, and meaningful relationships with pupils.
Provide one-to-one and small-group mentoring and pastoral support.
Help young people develop strategies for emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
Support pupils during lessons, breaktimes, and structured activities.
Implement individual behaviour support plans and targeted interventions.
Monitor and record pupil progress, behaviour, and wellbeing.
Help create a calm, safe, and inclusive environment where every young person feels valued.
