Job summary

King's Oak Academy is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to empower students aged 4-16 by delivering tailored support that enhances learning, engagement, and well-being. You will implement planned activities, support teaching programmes, and adapt approaches to meet individual needs within a high-performing, inclusive environment.

You will collaborate with teaching staff and the wider CLF trust to help learners access the curriculum and improve attainment and personal development, while

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning or equivalent.
• First aid qualification.
• Ability to engage students and manage behaviour one-to-one or in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned learning activities and support teaching programmes as agreed with teaching staff.
• Adapt approaches to meet students' needs and contribute to improvements in attainment and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and wider school support services to support learners in a mainstream secondary setting.
