Our Lady Of Sorrows Catholic Voluntary Academy in Doncaster is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND and SEMH, under the direction of teaching and inclusion staff.

Hours: 30.5 per week; Term Time Only; Temporary contract to 31/08/2027; Start ASAP; DBS check required.

The post involves working with children across the school to remove barriers to learning and to help them access education in a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Support pupils with SEND and SEMH under the direction of teaching staff.
• Assist groups and individuals to access learning and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted support for individual pupils and groups, helping to remove barriers to learning and promote emotional wellbeing.
• Support positive engagement across the school under supervision of teaching and inclusion staff.
