Our Lady Of Sorrows Catholic Voluntary Academy in Doncaster is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND and SEMH, under the direction of teaching and inclusion staff.

Hours: 30.5 per week; Term Time Only; Temporary contract to 31/08/2027; Start ASAP; DBS check required.

The post involves working with children across the school to remove barriers to learning and to help them access education in a safe, inclusive environment.

About the Role

To support pupils with SEND, SEMH, communication and interaction, learning and pastoral needs to access education, engage positively with school life and make progress within a safe, inclusive and supportive environment.

The Teaching Assistant will work under the direction of teaching and inclusion staff to provide targeted support for individual pupils and groups, helping to remove barriers to learning, promote emotional wellbeing and support positive engagement across the school.
