Advance Housing and Support is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Hackney to help people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs live the lives they choose. You’ll work 37.5 hours per week, including weekends, with training and support provided to progress in social care.

No prior care experience is required; what matters most is your values, compassion and commitment. You’ll join a not-for-profit organisation that values staff development and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; values and motivation matter.
• Able to work weekends and flexible hours.
• Able to follow a Care Plan and Risk Assessments.
• Need to be literate and numerate in English.
• Computer literate and able to use digital care documentation.
• Willingness to achieve the Care Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required).
• Medication administration (if required).
• Support with preparing and cooking meals.
• Support with attending medical appointments.
• Support with social activities.
• Keeping accurate records and updating care plans.
