Job summary

Nurse Seekers are seeking a committed Support Worker to join their friendly team in Kidderminster. You will provide person-centred care and support to adults living in supported living settings, helping them stay as independent as possible and pursue meaningful activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in care, supported living, learning disabilities or a similar setting is helpful, but a positive attitude, compassion and a willingness to learn are just as important.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality, person-centred care and support
• Supporting individuals with daily living, cooking, shopping and household tasks
• Encouraging independence, confidence and life skills
• Supporting with medication and health appointments where required
• Helping individuals access activities, education, employment and the wider community
• Building positive relationships with the people you support, their families and wider teams
• Maintaining accurate records and following safeguarding, health & safety and care procedures
