Job summary

Independent lives is seeking a patient and proactive Support Worker to help a client in the UK build confidence, develop everyday skills and enjoy more independence both at home and in the community. The role involves accompanying to cafés, walks, hospital appointments, meal prep and developing practical skills with a calm, compassionate approach.

The successful candidate will be patient, non-judgemental and reliable, with good timekeeping and the ability to work both in a supportive capacity

• Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
• All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Bar-ing Service check if required. If the role is offered on a self-employed basis, you will be responsible for the cost of your own DBS check.
