Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking experienced Support Workers in Burnley to help residents gain independence, within a supportive team. The role covers day-to-day activities, personal care, and community engagement as part of an exciting new Enhanced and Complex Care development.

The role requires caring, resilience and flexibility, with shifts across days and evenings. Enhanced pay structures apply as the service expands, offering meaningful progression within a sector-leading provider.

Qualifications

• Experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
• Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and people who may have experienced trauma.
• Be resilient, flexible and composed in your approach.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to gain more independence in daily living within a dynamic team.
• Assist with personal care and encouraging access to local communities and activities.
• Integrate into the community and teach new life skills.
• Provide support that aligns with Enhanced and Complex Care development goals.
