Job summary

Milestone Support Services is hiring a Support Worker in the Southampton area to assist individuals with complex needs in daily living, activities, and community engagement.

You will promote safety, independence, and person-centred care, while following PBS plans and safeguarding guidelines. A full UK driving licence is essential for transporting clients to appointments and activities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours that may challenge.
• Clear understanding of person-centred care and delivering safe, effective support.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety practices.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
• A full UK driving licence is essential for transporting service users.

Responsibilities

• Support healthy lifestyles including activities, nutrition, and hydration.
• Encourage community involvement and participation in work, education, and leisure.
• Assist individuals with daily living skills and personal care.
• Promote safety, wellbeing, and positive relationships.
