Job summary

Targeted Provision in the United Kingdom is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers (Core Subjects Maths, English, or Science) to transform the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners with SEMH and SEND needs.

You will work flexibly across in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching opportunities, with part-time to full-time hours and CPD support. QTS/QTLS, Enhanced DBS, and 2+ references are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a trauma-informed approach.
• Familiarity teaching Maths, English and/or Science.
• QTS or QTLS required; Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• UK-based with right to work; safeguarding knowledge.
• Willingness to engage on a self-employed basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English or Science tuition to SEND learners.
• Plan and report lessons and deliver feedback on progress.
• Support local authorities and schools by delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring.
• Contribute to safeguarding and create a safe learning environment.
