Job summary

Yarnfield Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic SEND HLTA to join our Enhanced Provision, supporting high-needs SEND pupils and shaping inclusive practice. You will work with the SENDCO and staff to deliver targeted interventions and monitor progress across the curriculum.

You will lead small group teaching, mentor Teaching Assistants and collaborate with families and external professionals to ensure every child thrives in a nurturing, ambitious environment.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or significant SEND experience.
• Strong knowledge of SEND and inclusive teaching.
• Ability to lead interventions and support learning across the curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning activities, interventions and small group teaching.
• Support pupils with SEND across a range of needs.
• Contribute to EHCP reviews and annual review processes.
• Work with families and external professionals.
• Support and mentor Teaching Assistants within the Enhanced Provision.
