Job summary

SNMAT is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a SEND focus to join our inclusive team. You will champion the needs of vulnerable pupils, ensuring they receive the support to thrive academically and personally.

You will work closely with the SENCO and staff to deliver targeted interventions, support classroom learning and promote inclusive practice across the academy.

Responsibilities

• Support SEND provision across the academy
• Deliver targeted interventions with pupils who have special educational needs
• Support classroom learning and promote inclusive practice
• Collaborate with SENCO, teaching staff, families and external professionals
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence and essential skills for education and beyond
