Grange School is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 1 SEN to join our team. The role is permanent, 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. Salary starts at £22,730 with a full-time equivalent of £26,427 (Grade 3).

You will support pupils' learning, wellbeing and development under supervision of teaching staff and SLT, contributing to a positive learning environment and safeguarding commitments across the Trust.

Competenze

• Understanding of the Teaching Assistant role and child development and learning.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills (Level 2 or above).
• Works effectively as part of a team and maintains high professional standards.
• Able to build positive relationships with all stakeholders.
• Experience or interest in working with children with communication difficulties or complex learning needs.

Mansioni

• Support small groups of children and implement Individual Learning Plans.
• Assist with supervision during teacher absence (short periods).
• Provide feedback on pupil progress and maintain records.
• Ensure equal access to learning for all pupils.
• Participate in training and development.
• Commit to performance management and continuous improvement.
• Communicate effectively with pupils, staff, parents and external agencies.
