Job summary

Beacon View Primary School is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This role will be linked to a pupil and will be tailored to individual needs.

You will provide 1:1 and small group support across Pre-School to Year 6, deliver targeted interventions and help pupils develop independence and resilience to reach their full potential. Hours are 32.5 per week during term time (39 weeks), Monday to Friday, 08:15–15:15.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential).
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
• Experience of supporting children with SEND and complex needs.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Committed, flexible and passionate about improving outcomes for children.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support across the school from Pre-School to Year 6.
• Deliver targeted interventions to help pupils progress.
• Promote independence and resilience to enable pupils to reach their full potential.
• Collaborate with families and colleagues to support pupil development.
