• Experience as TA in a UK secondary school
• Experience supporting students with SEN is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Calm, patient approach in behaviour management

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with additional needs
• Support students with their learning, development and engagement in lessons
• Help create a calm, positive and inclusive learning environment
• Encourage students to build confidence, independence and positive relationships
• Support with behaviour management and emotional regulation where required
• Work closely with teachers and the wider school team to meet individual student needs
• Assist students both inside and outside of the classroom
