Job summary

Academics Agency in Doncaster is hiring SEN Secondary Teaching Assistants to support pupils with autism, ADHD and other needs, starting ASAP. You will champion learners 1:1 and in groups, adapting lessons and building confidence.

Join a team of dedicated consultants and schools offering flexible placements, weekly pay, and opportunities for CPD. Salary determined by qualifications and experience, with holiday pay included.

Qualifications

• Qualified or experienced-Level 3 TA or equivalent experience in education, childcare, or health settings.
• SEN-savvy-you've supported children with additional needs and know how to adapt, connect, and inspire.
• Calm under pressure-patient, flexible, and solution-focused when things get tricky.
• DBS-ready-Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or happy to get one fast.
• Reference-perfect-two strong professional references ready to go.

Responsibilities

• Be their champion-supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups, building confidence and core skills.
• Think on your feet-adapting lessons, resources, and approaches to fit each unique learner.
• Turn behaviour into progress-using positive, tailored strategies that build self-esteem and engagement.
• Collaborate like a pro-working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and families to track progress and shape EHCPs.
• Embrace every challenge-from sensory sensitivities to speech delays, you'll meet each child where they are and take them further.
