Job summary

Academics Agency is seeking compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our bank across Barnsley’s specialist provisions. You will provide in-class support for pupils with autism, ADHD, and other needs, delivering focused interventions and aiding communication and social development.

With a minimum Level 3 TA qualification and an active Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one), you will collaborate with teaching staff, monitor progress, and help with EHCP reviews across multiple settings.

Qualifications

• Provide in-class support to pupils with SEN including autism, ADHD.
• Run focused one-to-one and small-group interventions to reinforce core skills.
• Collaborate with classroom staff to adapt materials per learner profile.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to EHCP reviews.
• Support pupils with sensory needs and communication delays.
• Collaborate with SENCO and staff on lesson delivery.
