Job summary

Resicare Alliance Ltd is seeking a Residential Support Worker to provide person-centred care to adults in our residential service in the UK. You will support independence, daily living skills and wellbeing, following care plans and working as part of a team.

We welcome applicants with or without prior adult social care experience who share our values of dignity, respect and safeguarding. The role requires flexibility, DBS clearance, and commitment to ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards the Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care within an agreed timeframe.
• Enhanced DBS check suitable for working with vulnerable adults.
• Genuine motivation to support adults and make a positive difference.
• Ability to build appropriate relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Emotional resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexibly, including shifts, weekends and sleep-ins.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing
• Building positive, appropriate relationships based on trust, respect and consistency
• Supporting individuals with personal care, activities, health appointments and life skills
• Contributing to a warm, welcoming, homely environment
• Following care plans, risk assessments and support strategies consistently
• Using positive approaches to support individuals who may experience distress or behavioural challenges
• Maintaining accurate, timely records and contributing to care planning and reviews
• Engaging respectfully with families, healthcare professionals, social workers and other partners
• Working towards your Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (if not already achieved)
