• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Enhanced DBS check valid for working with children (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, child‑centred care that promotes safety, stability and wellbeing.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Support children with daily routines, education, activities, health appointments and life skills.
• Follow care plans, risk assessments and behaviour support strategies.
• Act as a key worker for allocated children and lead care planning and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, timely records and contribute to reviews.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and lead shifts when required.
• Engage respectfully with families, social workers and other professionals.
