Job summary

Resicare Alliance Ltd. is seeking a Residential Support Worker to provide safe, compassionate, person-centred care to adults in our residential service. You will help individuals maintain independence, develop daily living skills and enjoy a respectful, supportive environment.

We welcome experienced practitioners and newcomers with the right values. The role requires flexible working, DBS clearance, and commitment to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing within a small, caring team.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 2/3 Diploma within an agreed timeframe.
• Enhanced DBS check suitable for working with vulnerable adults.
• Genuine motivation to support adults and make a positive difference.
• Ability to build appropriate relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Emotional resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexibly, including shifts, weekends and sleep-ins.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing.

• Supporting individuals with personal care, activities, health appointments and life skills.

• Maintaining accurate, timely records and contributing to care planning and reviews.
• Engaging respectfully with families, healthcare professionals, social workers and other partners.
• Working towards your Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
