Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for welcoming mainstream primary schools across Rugeley, Staffordshire. Roles are available on both full-time and part-time bases, with long-term placements and supply opportunities, including induction programmes and dedicated mentors.

You will deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1, KS2 as appropriate, following the UK National Curriculum and supporting pupil progress in a collaborative school environment.

Qualifications

• Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• ECTs, recently qualified teachers, or those completing induction.
• Passion for teaching and supporting children's learning.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• Two professional references covering teacher training placements and/or recent employment.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Managing classroom behaviour to maintain a productive learning atmosphere.
• Assessing, monitoring, and adapting teaching to support pupil progress.
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and senior leaders.
• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• Supporting children's academic, social, and emotional development.
