Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for primary schools across Tamworth, Staffordshire. Roles available full-time and part-time with long-term and supply opportunities, plus induction programmes and mentors.

You will deliver engaging lessons aligned to the UK National Curriculum, assess progress, manage classrooms, and collaborate with staff to support pupil outcomes. QTS required; enhanced DBS; two references; ongoing CPD.

Qualifications

• Holds UK QTS and is an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or completing induction.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to delivering high-quality education.
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• Able to provide two professional references from teacher training placements or recent employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a productive learning atmosphere.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, support staff, and senior leaders.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Support children's academic, social and emotional development.
